Write a synthesis paper based on this week’s readings.

View a sample synthesis paper and assignment rubric on the Resources page. Be sure to use the rubric to guide your work and to reference grading criteria.

You must reference and cite each of the readings for the week. However, do not simply summarize the articles one by one; if you do this, you will not be meeting the rubric criteria and you will likely receive a low grade. Instead, use them as a jumping off point for your ideas of the week’s topic (sample nursing essay examples by the best nursing assignment writing service)s and weave the ideas from the articles with your own ideas into a true synthesis.

2-3 double-spaced pages (approximately 500-800 words)

You may write in the first person, as in the model paper; however, it is not required. Just be consistent, using one or the other throughout.

Use one-inch margins in one of the following 12-point fonts: Arial, Times New Roman, Calibri, or Trebuchet MS.

You should have a title for your paper, centered and in upper- and lower-case letters.

All citations within the body of the paper should be in APA format. Remember, when you use anyone else’s ideas or words, it must be cited within the document.

You should include at the end of the paper a separate reference page listing the references you cited in the paper using proper APA format. The reference page does not count toward the page length requirement.
