Discussion 12 – Did Activism in the 1960s

Though this article does not focus solely on Mexican immigrant/Mexican American activism, it does question whether 1960s activism in general was beneficial to the country. There are two sides to this argument, as in previous PRO/CON articles. How does each Historian back up their claim? What evidence, if any, did that historian use?
