Professional Context:
A portfolio serves as a valuable tool for nurses to document and provide evidence of their skills, achievements, experiences, development, and ongoing learning. It not only benefits nurses themselves but also serves as a valuable resource for registration boards, employers, managers, and peers (Green, Wyllie, & Jackson, 2014, p. 8). As you curate the artifacts that best highlight your strengths, you embark on a journey of tracking, reflecting upon, and evaluating your own learning and growth over time.

Preparation:
For this assessment, you will create a professional e-portfolio and a resume to carry with you upon completing your program. To assist you in completing this assessment, please review the following resources as needed:

Instructions:
In this assessment, your e-portfolio will focus on showcasing your growth and achievements in alignment with the following course competencies:

Competency 1: Lead people and processes to improve patient, systems, and population outcomes.
Competency 3: Transform processes to improve quality, enhance patient safety, and reduce the cost of care.
Competency 6: Collaborate interprofessionally to improve patient and population outcomes.
Competency 8: Integrate professional standards and values into practice.
For each competency, complete the following within your e-portfolio:

Create a dedicated section within your e-portfolio for each competency, clearly labeled with the competency number or its description.
Select two artifacts (assessments) that you believe best exemplify your accomplishments or growth related to the respective competency, and place them in the corresponding e-portfolio section.
For each competency, compose 2–3 paragraphs explaining how the chosen artifacts illustrate your accomplishments or growth in that competency. This explanation should enable reviewers to easily comprehend your achievements and strengths. Place this text in the corresponding e-portfolio section alongside your selected artifacts.
In the Competency 8 section of your e-portfolio, include a professional resume that highlights your adherence to professional standards and values. Consult resources available in the Capella University Career Center, such as the Capella Career Center: Resume Rubric.

Please thoroughly review the scoring guide to ensure you meet the criteria for a distinguished score, which includes:

Clearly explaining how at least two selected artifacts demonstrate personal growth and accomplishments in interprofessional collaboration to improve patient and population outcomes.
Clearly explaining how at least two selected artifacts, along with your professional resume, demonstrate personal growth and accomplishments in the area of integrating professional standards and values into practice.
Communicating your e-portfolio in a clear and well-organized manner, utilizing correct grammar and spelling.
