As a professional in healthcare, critical thinking is an essential skill that I use in decision making and problem-solving on a daily basis. In a healthcare environment, it is important to be able to analyze and evaluate information, consider multiple perspectives, and make sound judgments based on evidence.

One specific example of how I have used critical thinking in decision making and problem-solving as a healthcare professional is in the management of patient care. When caring for a patient, I often encounter complex situations that require me to consider a range of factors and make decisions based on the best available evidence. For example, when a patient is experiencing multiple comorbidities and is taking a number of medications, I must carefully evaluate the potential risks and benefits of each treatment and make decisions based on what is most likely to improve the patient’s overall health.

I have also used critical thinking in problem-solving situations in the healthcare environment. For example, when a patient is experiencing adverse reactions to a medication, I must carefully analyze the symptoms and consider the possible causes in order to determine the best course of action.
