Similarly, professional practices in nursing require adherence to ethical standards, which include maintaining patient confidentiality and providing unbiased care (American Nurses Association, 2020). These principles are interconnected, as both academic and professional integrity rely on honesty, accountability, and ethical behavior.

Grammarly and SafeAssign are tools that support academic integrity by helping identify potential plagiarism and grammatical errors. Grammarly assists in refining writing, ensuring clarity and coherence, while SafeAssign checks for originality, promoting ethical writing practices (Smith, 2021).

Part 2: Strategies for Maintaining Integrity of Work
To maintain integrity in my academic work, I will utilize resources such as the university’s writing center and peer review sessions. These will provide feedback and ensure adherence to academic standards. In my professional practice, I will engage in continuous education on ethical guidelines and participate in workshops on professional ethics. Module 6 | Part 4: Finalizing the Plan
Step 1: Comparison of Nursing Specialties
The two nursing specialties I am considering are Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Nurse Educator. FNPs focus on providing comprehensive healthcare across the lifespan, emphasizing preventive care and chronic disease management. In contrast, Nurse Educators concentrate on teaching and curriculum development, preparing future nurses for clinical practice.

While both roles are essential, the FNP role offers direct patient interaction, which aligns with my passion for patient care. However, the Nurse Educator role appeals to my interest in teaching and shaping future healthcare professionals.

Step 2: Justification of Nursing Specialty
I have chosen the Family Nurse Practitioner specialty due to its broad scope and the opportunity to impact patient health directly. Feedback from colleagues highlighted the versatility of the FNP role, which can adapt to various healthcare settings, making it an ideal choice for my career goals.

The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is a professional organization related to my chosen specialty.
