Reality convergence refers to the extent to which the theory is consistent with reality. The theory should be based on sound research and should be able to be applied to real-world situations.
Utility refers to the extent to which the theory is useful. The theory should be able to be used to guide nursing research and practice.
Significance refers to the extent to which the theory is important. The theory should be able to make a significant contribution to nursing knowledge and practice.
