The video clips explains the about the problems facing India following the decision by the government to recall all older notes for new currency notes with the aim of curbing tax fraud in the economy. The government had a good intention, but the views from the citizens were that proper planning should have been put into the process. Moreover, it took too long to get the new currency notes due to the lack of proper banking plans to avail the new notes to the citizens. The video clips present important information about the significance of cash in the economy and the need for government to plan their programs well before implementation.

According to Iyengar, the access to cash was difficult due to the efforts to replace the old notes. The inability of the government to give out the new currency notes quickly created a low currency supply which slowed down the economic activities of the citizens. The government indicated that the new currency notes would help in reducing potential tax fraud in the Indian economy. In the future, the government must be careful with monetary programs as they have a significant impact on the daily economic activities of the people.
