1. Your task is to generate a report for the Board of Directors that details the facilities compliance with interoperability standards related to the EHR, patient portal, and health information exchange within the region. Within the report address how health informatics can be utilized to improve patient quality using continuous quality improvement methodologies. Address costs associated with implementation of any new systems and evaluate the lifecycle of hardware as related to selection, Assessment, and disposal.
2. Within your report be sure to include at least three examples of standards related to health information exchange, three standards related to Interoperability, three examples of how health informatics can be utilized to improve quality, and three examples of quality improvement methodologies. Also, address the need for API’s and HL7® FHIR® defining what it is and how it is utilized and the impact of the 21st Century Cures Act
3. Your report should be in APA format, three pages in length, not including the title and reference page.
