The United States has a long history of foreign intervention and has been involved in a number of conflicts and military actions throughout its history. Here is a brief overview of how American foreign policy in three periods – the 1890s, 1950s, and 1970s – shaped U.S. interventionism abroad:

The 1890s: In the 1890s, the United States was beginning to emerge as a global power and was increasingly involved in international affairs. During this period, the U.S. intervened in a number of conflicts, including the Spanish-American War, in which the U.S. defeated Spain and acquired a number of territories, including Puerto Rico and Guam. The U.S. also intervened in a number of conflicts in Latin America, including the Mexican Revolution and the Banana Wars, in which the U.S. intervened to protect American business interests in the region.

The 1950s: The 1950s saw a number of significant events that shaped American foreign policy and interventionism abroad. and to defend others from oppression. Give supportive evidence of your take on the events using outside
