You are a Marketing Consultant at SA & Co. Your client, a newly set up company intends to produce and market their line of healthy beverages in Canada. The beverages are made of bird’s nest imported from South East Asia, with a variety of ingredients with specific benefits.

You will also select and design an appealing nutritional fact to highlight the healthy beverage.
Your job is to prepare a marketing plan and submit the report to your client on how they should develop and market their brand and marketing strategy. In this report, you will apply the theories you have learned on segmentation, brand positioning, consumer behaviour, analyzing social responsibility, marketing campaign concept, global marketing, etc., using relevant examples and recommendations where necessary.
Use the following steps:
1. Research, identify, and analyze the target market. 2. Perform a SWOT analysis. 3.Develop goals/objectives for increasing current sales of the product in current markets. Be sure they are measurable, achievable, realistic, specific, and can be tracked, and that they are in line with the organization’s mission statement. 4. Select the marketing mix for product, price, place, and promotion. Include necessary resources. 5. Select an appealing nutritional fact to highlight the healthy beverages. You may design an appealing label to educate consumers as well as captivate their attention. You would first research the nutritional benefits of the beverages, Then design an attractive label for the food, including a catchy slogan that informs consumers about an appealing nutritional benefit from the beverage. In addition to the slogan, you can create graphics and select a type of packaging that would be appropriate for the beverage. 6. Develop a budget. 7. Identify tactics/activities for implementation. 8. Create an evaluation plan with measurements and milestones. Present the written plan, and conduct an oral presentation to the Director of Marketing of the client’s company. Your marketing plan will be evaluated based on the content, appropriateness of the strategies based on your recommendations, your ability to communicate the plan to your audience, how you structure and organize the flow of your marketing plan.
