Prompt #1: Medieval Love Poetry of France and Germany
Pick one poem from the troubadour poems in the packet. Write an analysis of the poem. What is it about? Does it tell a story, either directly or indirectly? What sort of imagery does it use? How does it use imagery to evoke emotion? What sorts of emotion does it evoke? Be both literal-minded and creative. Write everything you can thing of to say about the poem, and be specific.
