In relation to the Americans with Disability Act (ADA), safety professional’s organization is committed to protect people with disabilities that resulted from their jobs, and ensure environment and property safety. Safety professionals dealing with the ADA also allows its professional members to manage, research, supervise and consult on transport, safety, health and environmental issues within the industries, education and government. The safety professional organizations set systems that ensure people with disabilities acquire any lost wages, medical bills due to permanent or temporary impairments consequential from their injuries (Crawford, Johnson & Wingender Jr, 2015).
For temporary disabilities, workers will be eligible to receive compensation for lost wages the time they are unable to work or temporarily disabled. The benefits of temporary total disability are 70% of your mean weekly wages, subject to a maximum weekly amount as set by law.
