Osha is a federal organization which is under the department of labour that ensures safe and health working conditions for Americans by enforcing standards and providing workplace safety training.

Competent person is the one that means one who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or condition which are unsanitary, hazardous ,or dangerous to employee s, and who have authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them.
Examples of a competent person in Osha includes supervisors
foreman and Supervisors are responsible for supervisory role for providing and maintaining safe and healthy working conditions for employees (section 19of the act, executive order 12196).
Safety and health specialists performs technical monitoring ,consulting ,testing ,inspecting designing, hazard recognition, evacuation and control ,equipment and facility design ,standard ,analysis of accident ,injury and illness data. – Creating Employer is the employer who created the hazard
– Correcting employer is the employer who is responsible for correcting a hazard .
– Controlling employer or manager ,who by contractual rights or a combination of other rights has the authority to manage the exposing ,creating or correcting the employer.

The relationship between the employers is that they are all in a multitask project perform tasks which that will contribute to completion of a common project.

3) To allow an inspector access to his inspectorate work ,I would make sure the compliance officer displays his compliance credentials. I would also verify the OSHA federal or state compliance officer credential by calling the nearest federal or state OSHA office.
Inspection procedures involves:
-Opening conference ,where the compliance officer explains how the establishment was selected and how and what are likely scope of the inspection will be.
-Walkthrough-the compliance officer and accompanying representatives proceed through the establishment to inspect work areas for safety and hazards.
-closing conference-compliance officer conducts a closing conference with the employer ,employees, and employee’ s representatives.

OSHA general duty standards apply to every one if at all your business have employees.

-The hazard was likely to cause death ,according to general duty violation standard if a condition or activity in the workplace created hazard its considered as a violation.
-Employer had knowledge of the hazard or he should have had knowledge because the hazard was identified by him.
-The hazard was foreseeable,its nsidered as a violation if there was a feasible means to eliminate or materially reduce the hazard.
-Workers were exposed to the hazard.
