A Study of Vessel Traffic Management Systems to Reduce Congestion at Major Australian Ports

Vessel traffic management systems (VTMS) are systems that provide surveillance, monitoring and control of vessel traffic in ports and coastal waters. They aim to enhance safety, security and efficiency of maritime operations, as well as to protect the marine environment from pollution and accidents.
