The practice exam questions were an opportunity for identifying the areas I need to improve. I understood my strengths and the need to continue studying in preparation for the certification exam. One of the areas that require improvement is the prescription of medication and recommendation for psychotherapy. I need to improve on-time management since I almost ran out of time while completing the questions. Despite the strengths, I need to improve on the capacity to refer patients to other nurse practitioners (Stanfill et al., 2019). I perceive it as a sign of weakness to refer a patient to another practitioner. However, I believe referring clients is in the best interest of a patient.
The smart goals critical for the improvement include;

3. Join a group of students for discussion at least two hours every week.

The resources I will utilize include academic journals available in the university library. I will use online mobile applications Epocrates to improve my understanding of psychiatric interventions (Johnston et al., 2018). The mobile application is effective since it is available on my phone (Calinici, 2017).
