Lifelong learning

Professor’s Remark:

The reference and citation of scholarly work is required to support the concept expressed in the participation debate. ALL peer answers must include an in-text citation, a reference, and at least six sentences. The references should be from 2018 to 2022.
Post 1: Proper citation for Week 3 Because a CAT REPLY to THIS topic is only worth one reply for Week 3 participation Class, this is about correctly crediting a reference. Please let me know what’s wrong with this citation (not the content of the sentences, but the citation)
The paper will be about nurses. Nurses are “extremely bright people who learn in a variety of methods” (Roberts, 2019).
Please demonstrate how to correct it…
H. Roberts as a source: (2019). This is an article on nurses.
Only type the sentence as it should be!

Post 2: Lifelong learning is increasingly deemed mandatory for people working in the nursing profession. For nurses, learning should be a constant process, which means they should continually be learning new things and researching new ways to improve nursing care. Continuing education, often known as continuing professional development (CPD), allows professionals in health care settings to refresh and update their skills. While lifelong learning is often connected with professional development, it can also be a component of what one learns at work, whether practically or conceptually (Thomas, 2018). There is evidence that having an adequate number of well-educated nurses working in acute care regions can reduce the risk of patient death, but the evidence is limited to research in high-income countries and is not robust enough to draw conclusive nurse: patient ratios (Coster, Watkins and Norman, 2018). There is also some evidence that well-trained nurses can produce health outcomes comparable to doctors for patients with a variety of chronic health problems, especially those managed in primary care, and that nurse-led care may be more effective than medical care in promoting patient adherence to treatment and patient satisfaction. Nurses A Christian worldview is more than just a personal faith statement that allows nurses to cherish their patients and treat them with dignity as God’s creation; it is a belief system that allows them to align themselves with God (the creator). A Christian worldview enables nurses to be empathic and compassionate toward their patients while treating them with dignity. Nurses can enhance patient outcomes by valuing and honoring life.

Post 3: Nursing, like many other professions, necessitates lifelong learning. Every day, medicine advances, and we must keep on top of these breakthroughs in order to deliver the greatest treatment to our patients. This is being pursued through evidence-based practice. Can you imagine not washing our hands before and after patient care? I doubt our population would be where it is today. A study conducted in nine European nations found that units with a larger percentage of BSN qualified nurses had a 7% lower death rate over a 30-day readmission period (Thomas, 2018). This information piqued my interest. Probably because I can’t tell you how many times I’ve told someone I’m returning to school to get my BSN and their response is always the same “Why? You’re not compensated anymore, so it’s pointless “. This evidence validates why I am in school—to further my degree so that the patients I care for can benefit from it. In the real world, I couldn’t tell the difference between an ADN prepared RN and a BSN prepared RN. However, I’ve observed a shift in myself and the way I think about things like patient flow on the unit, precepting style, and leadership qualities in everyone. I doubt I would have realized such things if I hadn’t been in school. As a result, I agree that being a BSN-prepared nurse is essential.
Nurses with a Christian worldview will improve patient outcomes because they demonstrate courage in tough times by remaining honest and truthful to the patient and their families; as a result, the patient will develop a strong rapport of trust with the nurse (Mississippi College Online, 2020). If the patient is made aware of this, they will be more inclined to be candid when it comes to any past that some may consider risqué- this could lead to life-saving care for the patient.

Post 4: Advanced nursing education and ongoing training can Help improve patient outcomes by providing nurses with the information and skills they need to offer high-quality care. According to recent studies, patients who are cared for by nurses with greater levels of education fare better than those who are cared for by nurses with lower levels of education. This study demonstrates that nurses with graduate degrees can improve patient safety and treatment quality.
This research backs up my personal results. I believe that advanced nursing education and lifelong learning can help improve patient outcomes because they give nurses with the knowledge and skills they need to offer high-quality care. I believe that by providing nurses with a biblical perspective on healthcare, the Christian Worldview can help improve patient outcomes. A more biblical understanding of healthcare, as offered by the Christian worldview, can lead to improved health outcomes for patients (Aiken, 2020).
According to the Bible, everyone has worth and dignity because they were created in God’s image. By recognizing that they, too, are human beings created in the image of God, nurses may treat their patients with the dignity and care they deserve. According to the Bible, all persons are sinful and in need of redemption.
If nurses perceive their patients through this lens, their ability to provide mercy and compassion to them will improve. I believe that providing nurses with a biblical perspective on healthcare can help improve patient outcomes. This perspective, in my opinion, can encourage nurses to treat their patients with dignity and care because they are made in the image of God. Nurses can benefit from this perspective by treating patients with compassion and charity, viewing them through God’s grace.
