Therefore, this dissertation seeks to provide answers the following questions. What are the challenges in managing the supply chain contracts in the oil and gas industry? What key factors affect the development of an effective supply chain management contract in an oil and gas company? When is a supply chain contract effective? How these factors can be managed to produce a sound supply chain contract?

Aim and Objective

The aim of this work is to pinpoint and evaluate the impact of certain supply chain factors in the development of an effective supply chain contracts in the oil and gas industry. The key task confronting the oil and gas industry is utilizing her reserves and offering the end products to clients at the bare minimum cost possible. This research is formulated to understand, explain, and predict the phenomena within existing knowledge of supply chain contracts.

Specifically, The aim of this work is:

• To forestall every possibility of developing a supply chain contract in an oil and gas company that is not goal oriented.
