Interpretation of Dreams

My point of view on dreams are I know dreams have meanings, but i don’t think myself or anyone knows the interpretation of dreams. In every culture dreams have different meanings, for exam in my culture dreaming of snakes means enemies but in my friends culture it means good. so that’s why I believe dreams do having means but no one really knows. so i don’t believe in dream interpretation from others and myself so i just let it be. i don think about it.

Interpretation of Dreams
One of the dreams I had about a month ago is being at a party with a friend eating beef stew. The dream has been recurring for the last few days of the month. I have been worried since during the dream I hear someone calling my name. I cannot see the person nor recognize the voice of the person. It has been a scary experience due to my grandmother’s stories on dreams. My grandmother would always say that it is not good to dream about eating beef since it is an indicator of oncoming bereavement in the family. The thought of death in the family has been making me worried.
The websites claim that interpretation of the dream is possible. An interpretation of dreams according to Sigmund Freud is that interpreting dreams is a royal road to the unconscious (Freud, 2018). The websites suggest that people can learn about their dreams through interpretation. One of the sites claims that recreating the dream as a form of drama is critical for understanding how it occurred and why it occurred (Freud, 1900). The events will help a therapist to understand and interpret the dream.
I think the dream does not have any correlation with oncoming death in the family. I presume the dream is a result of overwhelming thoughts about the Christmas holidays. I believe the dream indicates I will enjoy my holiday season with friends to the fullest. I believe when I go out for lunch or dinner with my best friends the dream will stop recurring. I do not believe the dream requires any physical or spiritual intervention but going for the Christmas holiday will address all the recurring experiences in the dream.
