An Ethical and Spiritual Community Issue On the other hand, from my prospective, music has a way of soothing and causing reflection, but what about when it comes to age difference in the church? It would appear that church leaders have their part to provide music choices that will not only keep members, but to satisfy children, young adults and mature parallels. I believe music is a ministry in itself. It has as it’s structure the ability to calm, relax, motivate, restore, and to create a source of empowerment.However, if one choice of music is offered to parishes, the outcome in my opinion would not satisfactory. What can a church do to provide music variety? There Is traditional music, gospel music, contemporary music, rap music, pop, Instrumental, hip-hop music with strobe lights and R, and country music styles.

Still there should be music appeal total diverse age groups, balance is key.

In would appear however, that depending on the dominantly, there may be a consensus for a particular styles of music, still Is there rarity for everyone?Recently I visited a church where the music was up tempo, meaning the rhythm or pace involved movement of hands and feet. As I participated, wondered about the parishes who may not be able to participate, due to health constraints, limited mobility or this type of music appeal. I believe church leaders should pay close attention to music variety and to affirm what is being played or sung is an important issue. There should be guidelines or principles when it comes to music appeal in the church.It only stands to reason, that teens would listen to music which has appeal to their age, rather it be hip-hop or rap, the rhyme sets the mood for good listening, reverence and style. In order to resolve the dilemma of music variety, I would conduct a survey of music Likes and dislikes among the congregation.

Once completed, I would then propose a change in composition or lyrics that appeal to the congregation, altering Sunday morning service or afternoon music to all age groups. This consensus I believe will provide a mixture of music styles, negating the hurt splits or loss of members due to limited method or approach of music choices. She accepted his opinion, however she still struggles with the thought of the worship experience at her church ten years ago. Since that time, many of the members either have moved away, the community experienced school closings her in district, or the congregation decreased in size due aging, sickness and death.
