VMware, Inc is a public software company that provides virtualization and cloud computing services to companies within the united states and beyond. Many companies have migrated to the use of cloud computing services for the security of their data assets. The software runs on Linux, Microsoft Windows, or for hypervisors’ cases; it runs on the server directly without the need for an operating system. Virtualization entails creating a virtual representation of something, for essence, network, storage, and applications to improve IT efficiency, increasing business agility, and reducing IT expense. This paper discusses VMware virtualization with more emphasis on its solution and management aspect.
Conversely, most organizations use virtualization; its growth is overwhelming. The market is currently saturated with virtualization with the entrance of players such as VMware attributed to IT stability and increased consistency in disaster recovery, and increased data security. While it has portrayed so many benefits to the company, it is not without a share of challenges. Xerox has experienced VMs resulting in network traffic due to the increased overload on network bandwidth, which slows down business resulting in revenue loss (Mishra, 2016).

It specializes in health care products manufacture, which is one of the leading market niches. The company uses VMware for product virtualization. Additionally, it used VMware VSan for the storage and availability of additionally for its encryptions. Being in a highly competitive sector as it strives to penetrate the market, the company adopts the VMware services to protect its patents and curb the volatile competition, which keeps the company going (Çelik, 2017).
Furthermore, VMware software facilitates computerized workloads, co-scheduling logic, migration management, and automation. Virtualization has resulted in numerous technological solutions; however, it has posed challenges for essence. There is increased VM Sprawl resulting from the uncontrolled proliferation of virtual machines in the company, resulting in wasted resources and increased vulnerabilities (Modi, 2017).
Moreover, some of the companies’ software benefits include increasing IT agility, scalability, flexibility, and, in turn, cost savings. Additionally, it increases performance due to increased workload mobility due to increased performance and resource availability. Virtualization fosters automation making IT less costly to operate and ow. Furthermore, it has facilitated simpler data management, and these companies are enjoin reduced downtimes that in the past resulted in operational losses (Mauro, 2017).
