You are starting an organization or a business of your own. You have identified potential bigfunder. As investors like this family become more interested in social issues, they want to knowabout your values. They expect you to follow the laws and the applicable regulations, but theysee the shifting landscape as eroding their confidence that their advocates will be trustworthypartners. The family’s last firm got embroiled in a scandal that was embarrassing to the familyand has caused them to rethink their strategies. You are trying to convince them that theyshould work with you for a long-term partnership.

What will be your three main guiding principles as an entity? Develop your code of ethics orstandard of norms for advocacy. Explain the rules. Why did you choose them? How will theyshape your enterprise? How will you enforce them as you begin your work? How will these norms and/or standards interact with and/or compete against other enterprise goals such asdiversity and inclusion, broad impact, work-life balance, and a flat culture/hierarchy?

Introduction
As a community project, “Together as one Project” is one of the fantastic Project is focusing not only on the social issues but also on the economic empowerment of youths in the community. The Organization is anchored on the holistic values and norms that bring the members of the community together and enhance cohesion and understanding of each other at all levels of governance. The Project is focused on youth empowerment and community integration for economic and social development. Its primary focus is on arranging activities based on agriculture. The youth will participate in planting, weeding, and harvesting of crops, community programs like football and volleyball activities for the best cohesion in the communities. Nonetheless, as a start-up organization, the “Together as a one” Project will not achieve its goals with the basic principles of trust, integrity, and focus on the community. This will not only attract the big funders in the community but also enhance the understanding of each other for the better of the world. Interest in the social issues and knowing about the Organization’s values and principles is the basis for a clear understanding of necessary regulations. The shifting landscape in the business will be the basis for enacting and enriching values and principles for the best of the Organization. As far as the business entity is concerned, confidence, understanding, and accountability will be advocated to enhance trustworthiness among the partners and also attract new investors. With the need to succeed in this business entity, it will be imperative to identify the main guiding principles, rules and the norms with respect to how they shape the enterprise and enhance the interaction among the members for the best diversity, work-life balance and the broad impact on the spectrum of long-term partnership.

Guiding Basic Values
Customer and Investor Focus
As an economic and social organization, “Together as one Project” will be anchored on the customer and investors focus principles. In this case, the team members will be able to demonstrate a clear commitment to the provision of not only quality products but also enhance trustworthiness from the investors. The big family Funder focused by the Organization will not have confidence in our Organization if their interests and needs are not put into consideration. There is a need to always remember both the customers and the investors when conducting the business because this value is paramount to greater achievement when it comes to satisfying the needs and wants of the Organization (Hughes & Acedo, 2016). The Organization will always focus on providing solutions that are mutually beneficial in the sense that they will customer-oriented. In this case, it will be easy to deal with difficult situations with so much patience, care, and understanding of the customer’s needs. This will also allow the provision of quality products and services through the strive of the needs and customer’s expectations.
Importance and Relevance
By “Together as one” Project focusing on the customers, it will be possible to retain them and create the customers’ loyalty. This is the same case when it comes to the investors because they realize that their investment into the Organization is recognized and appreciated. As the Organization focuses on satisfying the needs of both the customers and the goals of the investors, it becomes very easy to be able to strike a balance between price and market expectation. Thus, even raising the agricultural product’s costs or the shares in the Organization will readily be accepted. Moreover, satisfying the customer’s needs will enhance one to get ahead of the competitors and ensure that they are able to make the best out of it. Taking advantage of the opportunities will enhance a beautiful place and a competitive one when it comes to the accessibility of the products. According to McAleese & Hargie’s (2004) research, a customer’s eagerness to go to your business enhances the sharing of the customers’ negative experiences, hence making it an essential element when it comes to a business entity. Investors will only come back when their needs are satisfied.
Integrity
The investment and success of the “Together as one” Project will not thrive without the basic principle of integrity. As investors, you are putting your money in a business that will require a high level of trust and understanding. This will require honesty, fairness, and confidence when doing things. The Project as a start-up will require winning the investor’s trust by always focusing on the right thing. Moreover, it will be easier to maintain a high level of confidentiality in addressing ethical and unethical issues (Hughes & Acedo, 2016). The Organization will be required to demonstrate the highest level of consistency and also be able to understand other people’s needs. The big and the small funders of my Organization will be addressed as people of importance to the business as far as carrying out the business ideas in an integrated form.
Importance and Relevance
Integrity is a fundamental value principle in the Organization; its practice will come with many advantages. Firstly, integrity and accountability will be essential in involving all people hence making it a necessary element in the business setting. Notably, no investor or community member will be comfortable to invest or be identified with an organization that is indulging in cheating and deceits. Integrity is interestingly enhancing dedication, customer’s, and investors’ satisfaction and making sure that the profit margins are exciting. As trust has become very difficult to be earned from the customers and the investors, upholding integrity as a business is the best way to go and achieve success and be able to improve the business conduct is not only a moral way but also an interesting one.
Moreover, integrity makes difficult decisions significantly easier to make. As an organization, “Together as one Project” will not be held back by the uncouth business practices because they are being driven by trust and accountability. This is an implication that it will not only aid in making sure that the goals and the objectives of the Organization are achieved but also cooperation among the shareholders are clients are maintained.
Teamwork and Learning
As a social and economic project striving to bring the community together, the “Together as one” Project will require the communication and working together of the members to achieving the common goals. This will require creating and reinforcing both positive and cooperative work environments for common courtesy and humor (Baker, 2014). The members of the Organization will focus on dealing with not being afraid of asking for Helpance not only from the investors but also from other team members. In this case, it will be positive to resolve the conflicts directly with those involved. It will also enhance the proactiveness among investors because they understand that they are liable to the Organization.
Importance and relevance
Teamwork is a necessity in the work environment; it promotes an atmosphere that fosters loyalty and friendship, and cooperation, thus making it an essential element in the world. Through teamwork, the members of the Organization and investors will be focused on achieving the objectives of the Organization and also making sure that the inefficiency in the workplace is completed hence making it possible to attain an equitable working environment for all (McAleese & Hargie, 2004). Teamwork will enhance coordination and diversity in the Organization as creativity, opportunities, and problem-solving strategies have to be achieved at all costs. Motivating the employees encouraging the investors will be achieved through this course.
Code of Ethics for the “Together as One” Project
As an organization and a business entity, the “Together as one” Project will be enshrined on a code of ethics. Firstly, the business is focused on the inclusivity of all the members of the community and investors. As a rule and a directive to the Organization’s success, the inclusivity rule will not have limited to race, culture, identity, or national origin. The Organization will be an entity to bring together the members of the society rather than separate them from each other and thus making it an important element in not only the physical ability but also understanding of each other in the Organization. Secondly, the Organization will be based on respect and understanding of each other. As an organization, there are a series of elements which we cannot put at bay but address them even though there may be instances of disagreement among the members and the investors (Small, 2001). As a rule, to the success of the Organization, there is a need for every member to respect each other even though there is disagreement over an issue. In this case, it would mean that the Organization members will perceive each other’s views as one of their own, thus making it an essential element in reducing workplace stress and solving the Organization’s problems and conflict. Respect in the Organization ensures improved communication between the members, an increase in teamwork, and stress reduction. As a result, it will be possible to increase productivity, understanding, and also knowledge.
Another essential element that will shape the “Together as one” Organization, is focusing primarily on restricting the use of words for the sake of perfect and acceptable conduct among the professionals. By being kind to others, it will be possible for the organization members and investors to demonstrate ethical behavior and conduct (Hughes & Acedo, 2016). The harassment and exclusionary behavior, will be punishable in the Organization and thus require the members not to indulge in them because they lead to conflict and misunderstanding in the Organization. As a rule, threats to violence, discriminatory language and jokes, insubordination, and sharing of the Organization’s explicit contents will not be encouraged at all. Members of the Organization will be required to be open to correction as it does help in advocating the best goals of the Organization. Encouraging a very useful behavior will be the best in enhancing effective conduct in the Organization.
Harassment in the “Together as one” Project will not be entertained at all costs and thus need to deal with any form of it that arises. Harassments such as discriminatory harassment, personal, power, and religious harassment have no place in this Organization because it puts the business at risk and reduced the coordination among the Organization’s members, hence making it a critical concept that has to be dealt with at all costs. Moreover, it does minimize productivity among the organization members because it encourages offensive conduct and a high inefficiency level (Baker, 2014). In dealing with this type of misconduct, it will be necessary for the Organization to encourage reporting this kind of behavior in the workplace. The Organization will have a record of the sexual harassment behaviors that have been committed in the Organization and how it has impacted the Organization. As a result, it will be very easy to identify the culprits and punish them accordingly to discourage the behavior.
Additionally, the code of ethics in the Organization will require the inclusion and consideration of the work environment to ensure that coordination in the workplace is done accordingly. As a rule and a requirement in the work organization, it will be necessary for the employees to comply with the Organization’s laws. Integrity, accountability, and respect for each other will be mandatory in the Organization to make it possible for the colleagues and customers to partner ethically (Hughes & Acedo, 2016). It will be possible to shape the work environment by providing equal opportunities, avoiding violence, safety policy, enhancing privacy policy, and do-away with misconduct and policy analysis. Substance abuse and discouragement to other Organization members have no place in the “Together as one’ Project.
In summary, the success of the “Together as one” Project is based on the managers, members, and investors’ ability to uphold the fundamental guiding principles of integrity, customer and investor focus, and teamwork and learning and exercise of the ethical tenets. Contextually, in a competitive environment, it will be essential to understand that any action taken in the Organization affects the members of the Organization and puts the business at risk of losing its position in society. In the contemporary business environment, harassment, racism, and disrespectful behavior have no place. This kind of misconduct does not only reduce the productivity in the workplace but also minimizes the coordination and cooperation among the team members hence requiring action for it to be dealt with. By enhancing coordination and integration of the ethical code of conduct, it is possible to be able to achieve the highest level of diversity, inclusion, and work-life balance. Having peace and cooperation in the workplace is very critical to the success of the enterprise and the achievement of the goals and objectives at a broader scale.
