Antigone, Ismene, Polynices, esreocles, and Oedipus are siblings and Jocasta’s children; therefore, Antigone and Ismene have the same father. Ismene is Antigone’s sister who believes in in-laws and the king’s decree, especially when Antigone buries his brother.
