Executive Summary
The Custom Protection Officer at the airport working for Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, (NAME), submits this proposal dated, (DATE) to justify the recruitment of Consultants and/or Contractors for building the company’s social media presence on LinkedIn. Within this era of globalization, it is vital that organizations have social media presence. EOPSS being responsible for crime prevention and homeland security should be available on Linkeldn especially for information sharing and easy recruitments. The following are the details of the justification.
Needs Assessment
The reason behind the need for recruitment is to have personnel who can build a social media presence within LinkedIn and be in charge of: recruiting people into the EOPSS agency, release articles about EOPSS, and supply general information about the agency to the public. LinkedIn is a job market that if full of potential employees ready to take up tasks.
Methodology
Upon averaging employee tenure it was concluded possible to hire more staff based from the already existent ones. There is a large number of employees who are working long-term within the company, which means that the turnover is at a controlled level. The labor market is fresh with people looking for jobs, especially within a commuting range around our location and LinkedIn in itself is a whole job market full of potentials. It will be easy to find candidates to fill up the position as the post does not have intense requirements.
Budget
The planned salary for the contractor is aimed at $30,000 a year, plus the cost to employ which is $5000, which brings the total budget to $35,000. Benefits for employee will include insurance and pension savings only.
The timeline for the recruitment is expected to run for one month based on when approval will be granted. Responsibilities and qualifications that the department requires are as listed below:
Responsibilities
The consultants and contractors will be in charge of writing technical specifications while they manage developer backlog so as to enable free flow of work. This way goals will be achieved easily.
They will be required to coordinate with other departments so that every sector of the company is represented on the social platform.
Progress reports will be provided by provided to the executives and managers of each department in order to measure results.
Consulting with project leaders will be a daily responsibility so that all groups are brought up to speed and on the same page.
Assessment of bugs is another responsibility. The platform has to run smoothly without default so as to maintain the current image of the company.
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics, or Political Science
Perfect in SQL, C, JavaScript or Python. Any one of those is an advantage
Minimum of three years’ experience in Google Analytics
Minimum of two years’ experience working as a Social media coordinator for a well-known company.
Excellent knowledge in LinkedIn
Must be an American Citizen
Security Clearance is required

Ability to work under minimum supervision
Understanding of SEOS and KPI’s
Self-motivated person who is willing to go an extra mile to complete objectives
Should be able to handle various tasks at once and perform equally well in all of them
Able to work under pressure especially for last minute tasks.
