Cloud computing allows real-time sharing of patient data from diverse healthcare facilities. Sharing the data for research purposes improved evidence-based culture.
• Electronic health records is an essential policy before the introduction of cloud computing. The technology will allow healthcare workers to record patient data. Cloud computing helps store large amounts of data safely and efficiently (Ali et al., 2018). Security measures about the data collection protocols should be in place. Healthcare institutions should develop mechanisms on how to store and safeguard patient data. Encryption and decryption policies should be in place to foster patient data safety (Dang et al., 2019). The purpose is to enhance the smooth implementation of cloud computing technology in healthcare organizations.
